The Specialized Honey Analysis Lab at Shahid Beheshti University has officially been designated as a collaborating laboratory by the IFDA.
Dr. Bigdeli, Dean of the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Technology, announced the news, highlighting the importance of identifying high-quality honey with medicinal properties in Iran. He stated, "After several years of dedicated research, the Specialized Honey Analysis Laboratory has been established within the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Technology at Shahid Beheshti University."
Dr. Bigdeli further stated that, following rigorous inspections by the Ministry of Health, the Laboratory was designated as a collaborating laboratory for the IFDA. He also noted that the lab is an active member of the Strategic Technologies Laboratory Network, operating under the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology.
“With our specialists' expertise and advanced infrastructure, the lab is fully equipped to perform tests, evaluate quality, and identify the therapeutic properties of honey samples submitted for analysis,” he added.
