A seminar on the national and international achievements of the Innovation-Based, Knowledge-Driven Research Center for Bee Products at Shahid Beheshti University was held at the Amphitheater Hall of the Faculty of Biological Sciences and Technologies, with the presence of faculty members, students, beekeepers, and researchers.
Dr. Ghalamboran, head of the Faculty Innovation Center, opened the session by introducing the center’s activities in the field of technology and its key accomplishments. Dr. Ahmadreza Mehrabian, Director of the Bee Products Research Center, presented a comprehensive report detailing the center’s national and international contributions and its role as a reference hub.
Following that, Dr. Sanaei emphasized the importance of bee products in microbiological studies, particularly in relation to treatment-resistant infections and the significance of honey microbiomes in industrial microbiology. Nine postgraduate students then presented findings from their theses and dissertations.
In closing remarks, Dr. Ghalamboran stressed the importance of broad dissemination of the center’s achievements across the university and the country.
